Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust frameworks
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and conduct forensic investigations
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Create comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code knowledge
- Experience with NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance frameworks
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
