Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Document network topology, configurations, and procedures using Visio and ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud integration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Implement network security protocols including VPNs, ACLs, and intrusion detection systems
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
- Train end-users on network best practices and security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (PRTG, Nagios)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with ability to document technical procedures clearly
