Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Resolve VPN connectivity issues for remote workforce
- Implement security protocols (NAC, ACLs, IDS/IPS)
- Document network changes and maintain Visio diagrams
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and support
- Perform network capacity planning and optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Layer 2/3 issues
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
