Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless network infrastructure.
- Monitor network traffic and performance to ensure 99.9% uptime and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and security patching on routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues reported by end-users in a timely manner.
- Document network topology, configurations, and changes for future reference and compliance.
- Assist in the planning and deployment of new network hardware and cabling projects.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Certification such as CCNA, Network+, CCNP, or Security+ is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience working with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networking equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
