Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues through systematic troubleshooting methodologies
- Implement network security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports in compliance with ITIL standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network migrations and infrastructure upgrades
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for escalated network-related incidents
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or IT; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network hardware
- Active CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (CCNP strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in network protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN technologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex multi-layered issues
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing and internal team interactions
