As a Network Technician, you'll be the backbone of our infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance for our clients across North Texas. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, security incidents, and connectivity issues
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades and migrations
- Implement network security protocols and best practices
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network infrastructure experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools and SNMP protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
