Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network issues using diagnostic tools and protocols
- Implement security measures to protect network integrity and data
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance
- Monitor network traffic and proactively address potential vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting
- CCNA/CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking hardware
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotations
