Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and security breaches.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to existing network systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and outages with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement scalable network architecture solutions.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Proven experience with wireless networking (Wi-Fi) and VPN technologies.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused attitude.
