Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network configurations and update IT asset inventory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for network-related incidents
- Perform network upgrades and capacity planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper devices and SD-WAN technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
