Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform routine network audits and security assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and configuration errors.
- Implement and manage Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and remote access solutions to support our remote-friendly policy.
- Monitor network performance and traffic using advanced tools like Wireshark or SolarWinds.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure knowledge continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid CCNA or equivalent networking certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
- Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper network equipment and command-line interfaces (CLI).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on security and network efficiency.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
