Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across VPN and hybrid environments
- Implement security protocols to prevent breaches and ensure compliance
- Document network configurations and create SOPs for remote team
- Collaborate with cloud services (AWS/Azure) for hybrid infrastructure
- Provide Tier 2/3 support to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP protocols
- Experience with remote monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios)
- Excellent written communication for virtual collaboration
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
