Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform regular network audits, security updates, and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues and hardware failures efficiently.
- Manage IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, and routing protocols to optimize network performance.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new network technologies and upgrades.
- Provide technical support to end-users and document all troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience with network cabling, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with non-technical staff members.
