Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Cabling & Hardware: Perform physical cabling tasks, fiber termination, and rack and stack server hardware.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts for clients.
- System Monitoring: Conduct routine system checks and performance monitoring to ensure 99.9% uptime and security.
- Documentation: Accurately document technical configurations, change logs, and network diagrams.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support to end-users and assist in the implementation of IT solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Technical Basics: Basic understanding of computer networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
