Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist in the physical cabling and infrastructure setup for new client sites.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve network connectivity issues efficiently.
- Conduct network audits and document configurations for future reference.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to implement new network solutions and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications (A+, Network+) are a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Strong desire to learn and obtain hands-on technical training.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds for installation purposes.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
