Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize systems
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal stakeholders
- Participate in continuous learning programs for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or technical certification preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Willingness to complete company-paid certification training
- Valid driver's license (for occasional site visits)
- CompTIA A+ or similar entry-level certification is a plus
