What You Will Do:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure optimal network performance and security.
- Respond to network incidents and service tickets with speed and precision.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes accurately.
- Conduct network audits and perform routine hardware maintenance.
- Collaborate with system administrators to integrate network solutions with other IT systems.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and cabling systems.
- Monitor network traffic and performance using monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure data security by enforcing network access controls and firewall policies.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity.
- Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing (OSPF/BGP), and switching.
- Experience with network management software (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel within the Nashville area.
