Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve outages within SLA targets
- Implement network security protocols including VPN, ACLs, and zero-trust architecture
- Document network topology, configurations, and incident reports in ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to optimize hybrid cloud connectivity
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and lead disaster recovery drills
- Research and evaluate emerging networking technologies for infrastructure upgrades
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and VMware NSX
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN protocols
- Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites within KY
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
