Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize system efficiency
- Troubleshoot network issues, implement security protocols, and document resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy network solutions and support business objectives
- Conduct regular network audits and implement best practices for scalability
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user inquiries
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and vendor certifications
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Meraki network infrastructures
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid Nebraska driver's license for occasional site visits
