Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades and migrations
- Provide Tier 2/3 user support for network-related problems
- Conduct regular network audits and performance analysis
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites
