Responsibilities
- Design, install, and configure local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Perform regular hardware audits and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
- Respond to service tickets and resolve network-related issues for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors and engineers to upgrade legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Proven experience with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to client sites within the region.
