Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing for high-speed data connections.
- Assist in the deployment of network cabling infrastructure, including Cat6, fiber, and wireless access points.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, inventory, and site plans.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve network outages and performance issues efficiently.
- Conduct routine site surveys and cable management audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Willingness to obtain relevant industry certifications (we provide the training).
- Physical stamina required to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, outdoors).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
