Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
- Perform network cable termination and testing for Cat5e, Cat6, and Fiber optic cabling.
- Maintain and repair network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues and service tickets promptly.
- Conduct regular network audits and perform preventative maintenance on infrastructure.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and subnetting.
- Familiarity with cabling standards (TIA/EIA) and termination tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
