Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
  • Perform network cable termination and testing for Cat5e, Cat6, and Fiber optic cabling.
  • Maintain and repair network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues and service tickets promptly.
  • Conduct regular network audits and perform preventative maintenance on infrastructure.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and subnetting.
  • Familiarity with cabling standards (TIA/EIA) and termination tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
