Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex network hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Implement and monitor network security protocols to protect sensitive organizational data.
- Perform regular network audits and performance tuning to ensure optimal uptime.
- Document all network configurations, changes, and technical procedures for future reference.
- Assist in cabling projects and physical infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark) and Cisco/Juniper hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to client sites within the KC metro area.
