Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and perform regular maintenance to ensure high availability and security.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and system failures promptly.
- Implement and manage Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and access controls.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute network upgrades and migrations.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and technical procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal staff regarding network usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Valid certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and scripting languages (Python or Bash).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Ability to lift equipment and perform physical work as required on site.
