Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform structured cabling, fiber optic termination, and cable management projects.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve hardware/software network-related problems efficiently.
- Conduct security audits and implement firmware updates to protect against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design scalable network solutions for future growth.
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate technical records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ is highly preferred.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networking equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
