Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco/Juniper).
- Implement and maintain network security protocols, VPNs, and access controls.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues and hardware failures.
- Document network architecture, diagrams, and change logs accurately.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff regarding network usage.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with network security concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and physical ability to lift network equipment.
