Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform physical network cabling, termination, and rack-and-stack infrastructure management.
- Monitor network performance metrics and resolve connectivity issues with minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and conduct regular system audits.
- Document network topology changes and maintain accurate inventory logs.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy new network services and software updates.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Valid Cisco CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50lbs for physical installations.
