Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize traffic flow
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance schedules
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for network-related user issues
- Implement security protocols and ensure network compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades and expansions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, and DNS
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- A+ certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
