Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, security incidents, and connectivity issues
- Implement network security protocols (VPNs, ACLs, firewall rules)
- Document network configurations, topologies, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integrations
- Provide tier-3 technical support for complex network problems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
