Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise systems during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST frameworks
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call rotation for critical incidents
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations (SOC, IR, or threat analysis)
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Knowledge of network protocols and cloud security architectures
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Strong written communication for incident reporting
- Willingness to relocate to Philadelphia area with assistance
