Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG systems
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and VLAN segmentation
- Document network topology and create SOPs for operational procedures
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to hybridize on-premise and AWS infrastructure
- Respond to critical outages with SLA-driven resolution protocols
- Conduct quarterly network audits and capacity planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds preferred)
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge
- Experience with Azure/AWS networking services
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred
