Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement and enforce network security policies (NIST compliance)
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams for hybrid infrastructure management
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expertise in Cisco IOS/Juniper Junos and TCP/IP protocols
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Wireshark, PRTG)
- Strong knowledge of VPN and firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Experience with Azure/AWS networking services
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
