Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Perform network monitoring and troubleshooting using provided diagnostic equipment
- Document network changes and configurations in ITSM systems
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment upgrades and maintenance
- Ensure network security protocols are implemented and maintained
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for network-related issues
- Assist in network capacity planning and optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA certification or equivalent vendor credentials
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista equipment
- Ability to work with provided test equipment (oscilloscopes, cable testers)
