Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless network hardware and software.
- Perform routine network audits to ensure security, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
- Design and maintain cabling infrastructure, including Cat6, fiber optics, and structured cabling.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff regarding network access and security protocols.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network upgrades and migration projects.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Experience configuring routers (Cisco/Juniper) and switches.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for field work.
