Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Diagnose and resolve complex network outages within SLA timeframes
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with NIST standards
- Document network configurations and create technical procedure manuals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated network issues
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+ or CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Meraki technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network automation (Python/Ansible preferred)
- Valid Nevada driver's license for occasional site visits
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
