Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine network audits and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software network issues to minimize downtime.
- Document network topology changes, configurations, and technical procedures.
- Assist in the procurement and setup of network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Respond to service tickets and provide technical support to internal staff.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network hardware from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs for cable installation.
