Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network traffic and performance to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Perform regular cable management and infrastructure maintenance.
- Assist in the deployment of new network services and VPN configurations.
- Create and maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets related to connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement network upgrades.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and subnetting.
- Experience with wireless LAN (WLAN) configuration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible work schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation for local site visits (if applicable).
