Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless networks
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve connectivity issues within SLAs
- Implement network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Collaborate with cloud engineering teams on hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation for SOPs
- Support 50+ users with network troubleshooting and endpoint management
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent industry credentials
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN implementation
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN technologies
- Strong analytical skills for complex network diagnostics
- Excellent written communication for documentation and stakeholder updates
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours while meeting deadlines
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
