Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect against data breaches and unauthorized access
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy cloud-based infrastructure solutions
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports using ITSM platforms
- Provide Tier-3 technical support to resolve complex network outages and system failures
- Train staff on network best practices and security compliance standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper networking equipment
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot under pressure
