Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Document network topology, configurations, and incident reports in our ITSM system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security protocols and compliance measures
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex network outages during flexible on-call rotations
- Conduct regular network audits and recommend infrastructure improvements
- Maintain inventory of network assets and coordinate hardware refresh cycles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network technologies
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during flexible hours
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network hardware and software
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
