Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network changes and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 2-3 support for end-user network-related incidents
- Collaborate with cloud services like AWS and Azure for hybrid solutions
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience (3+ years)
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment
- Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and packet analysis
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
