Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve outages within SLA targets
- Document network topology changes and maintain up-to-date configuration records
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid network architecture
- Implement security protocols (NAC, VPN) and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and mentor junior technicians
- Manage vendor relationships for equipment procurement and maintenance contracts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required; CCNP preferred
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet) and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark, ping, and traceroute tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotations
- Excellent written communication for documentation and stakeholder updates
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
