Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Document network topology, configurations, and incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols and perform vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex network outages
- Assist with network upgrades and capacity planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or support
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix)
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
