Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement and maintain secure VPN solutions and wireless network infrastructure
- Perform proactive network monitoring using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement zero-trust architecture
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and performance issues
- Conduct regular network audits and optimize bandwidth utilization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in VLAN configuration, OSPF/BGP routing protocols, and QoS implementation
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet) and hybrid environments
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of network issues
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment installation and maintenance
- Valid Missouri driver's license for on-site client visits
