Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Perform proactive network monitoring and security vulnerability assessments
- Troubleshoot complex network issues using provided diagnostic equipment
- Document network infrastructure changes and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades
- Provide on-site client support with company-provided transportation
- Train junior technicians on network best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- 3+ years experience in network administration and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and wireless networking
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
