Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Proactively monitor network performance using company-provided diagnostic tools
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Document network configurations and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on vulnerability assessments
- Implement network upgrades and expansions as needed
- Provide Tier-2 support for complex network incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/Juniper Junos
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and OSI model
- Experience with SNMP monitoring tools (company-provided)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs for equipment installation
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional site visits
- CompTIA Security+ preferred
