Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using provided diagnostic tools and SNMP software
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement security protocols
- Document network changes and create maintenance reports using company-provided systems
- Collaborate with vendors using provided test equipment for fiber optics and cabling
- Train junior staff on proper equipment handling and safety procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Experience with Cisco Meraki or equivalent cloud-managed systems
- Valid Texas driver's license for equipment transport
- Ability to lift 50 lbs of provided equipment
- OSHA 10 certification (training provided)
