Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network environments, including LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructures.
- Monitor network performance using advanced monitoring tools to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Implement and manage firewalls, routers, and switches from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
- Perform regular network audits, security patching, and capacity planning to prevent outages.
- Collaborate with system administrators and cybersecurity teams to integrate network solutions with broader IT ecosystems.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior technicians on network protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network administration or engineering.
- Certified Cisco Professional (CCNP) or equivalent advanced networking certification is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and subnetting.
- Experience with network security standards, including VPNs, ACLs, and firewall management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose root causes of network failures rapidly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
