Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols and best practices to protect network infrastructure
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on network systems
- Conduct regular network audits and performance optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for equipment installation
