Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools provided by the company
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with prompt technical support
- Document network configurations and create detailed maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network architecture
- Implement network security protocols and access controls
- Train junior technicians on equipment usage and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (company vehicle provided)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duties
